Are you open all year?
Yes we operate all year round except Christmas Day and New Years Day, however during busy times we may be booked out, so make your bookings early.
Do I need to make a booking?
Booking are essential. Please book as early as possible. We cater for a wide range of customers including schools and sporting clubs so please, book in advance.
Do you have insurance?
North Coast Surf Styles prides itself on providing high quality experiences in a safe and welcoming environment. So yes, we do have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance for all our services. We also ensure that our services are registered with all appropriate governing bodies including Land and Water Dept and associated local councils, adhering to all their codes of practice.
What if I cancel or cannot make it on the day that I booked?
We understand that problems can arise and in many cases they occur without notice and exactly when you don’t want them too!!! We ask that you let us know as soon as possible, so we can arrange a different time or location. As a general rule we require you let us know of your cancellation at least 48 hours prior to the start of your session. Failing to let us know of your cancellation or cancellation within 48 hours of your session may result in the loss of 50% or all of your deposit or monies paid.
What happens in the event of poor weather?
Unfortunately we can not control the weather and Mother Nature can often have other ideas than the perfect weather for our planned outing. If this does occur we will first try and arrange another time or location for your experience. However if this is not an option a 100% refund will be made on the purchase price.
I have a large group can you cater for us?
Whether your group is large or small, one or two we can definitely cater for all your needs; with a program, accommodation and equipment supplied.
What qualifications do your instructors have?
North Coast Surf Styles instructor’s have been trained and accredited by Surfing Australia. Further training also includes rescue, lifesaving, first aid and advanced resuscitation certification. A number of employees also have degrees and/or diplomas in leadership, recreation, facilitation, environmental science & management, nature tourism and customer service management. We pride ourselves on the delivery of a high quality service, thus all employees have relevant experience and expertise in delivering our services, which adhere to the relevant Standards and codes of practice and conduct.
What do I need to bring?
All the specific equipment needed to complete your experience is provided by North Coast Surf Styles. As a general rule you should always bring appropriate clothing for the weather conditions including swimmers, hat , wear sturdy footwear suitable for the environment you’re entering, a drink bottle filled with water and sunscreen. If there are any other requirements we will let you know prior to your session.
